OnlineLaw is a platform that connects those who need a legal professional (lawyer, notary, bailiff or mediator) to assist them in resolving the legal issue they are facing with a network that covers all of Greece through the online appointment process.

How does onlineLaw work?

From the home page of the website, you can select the specialty you are looking for (lawyer, notary, bailiff or mediator), the region you want to be served and search for the professional in the field you are interested in. The search engine will show you all available professionals based on your criteria. Through each professional's profile you can find the one that suits you and make an appointment quickly and easily by explaining a little about the issue that concerns you. The legal professional will verify your appointment and you will already be closer to solving your problems!
 

Why should I use this website and not some other big firm site?

OnlineLaw is registered with reputable professionals who may not have the ability to set up an impressive website to showcase their work and expertise, but they are hard-working professionals who will take your case seriously and responsibly and will make sure you get a prompt response to your issue without delay.

Booking an appointment

What do I need to book an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, you need to register on OnlineLaw and choose the professional that suits you. If you have already registered, you can navigate through the website. To register you will need your email and a password. To schedule an appointment you need to enter your mobile phone number so that the legal professional can contact you if necessary. In case the appointment is for a third party you can choose different contact details from yours.

What is the fee for the appointment?

Scheduling an appointment through onlineLaw is FREE! To find out the cost of your appointment, you will receive a message from the legal professional setting the fee based on the nature, difficulty of the case and the estimated time of the appointment. If you are not satisfied with the fee, you can cancel the appointment, but in case of three consecutive cancellations you will be excluded from using the website for a certain period of time.

Ιs there a charge for the appointment?

Each legal professional sets the amount of the appointment fee based on the duration (half an hour or one hour) and the price of the time charge is displayed at the time of the appointment.

The payment, is made in the manner determined by the legal professional in consultation with the user / client and in case of non-payment of the requested amount, the user / client will be excluded from the website until the payment of the amount due.

How can I be sure that my appointment is booked?

All of the appointments booked through onlineLaw are either confirmed or rescheduled. If you have already received an email titled "Request for Appointment", then you have completed the process correctly. You will soon receive your confirmation email with all the necessary information!

How can I change or cancel my appointment?

The process is very simple! To change an appointment you can contact the office phone number you received in your confirmation email directly. To cancel an appointment you will need to log in to your personal account.

Before I make an appointment can I ask the lawyer/notary/mediator/judicial officer something?

During the process of booking an appointment through onlineLaw, you will be asked to describe in a few words the nature of the case or issue you are concerned about so that the professional will be prepared. The legal professional will immediately receive your appointment request, review your questions and answer them during your appointment.

Which professionals are available?

The legal professionals available are lawyers, notaries, mediators and bailiffs with verified credentials and an active license to practice in Greece.

What about privacy and data protection?

User data and conversations are stored in different places and are not linked to each other.
In order to provide the best service to users, the only information shared with professionals is their name, phone number, email and the personal message sent to the professional when making the appointment.

Personal account

I have forgotten my password what do I need to do to log in?

If you do not remember your password you can retrieve it and a new password will be sent to your email. In the Login section you will click on the "Forgot your password?" option. You will enter your email and receive an automated message from onlineLaw with a new login password.

How do I change the email I log in with?

The email you use to log in to onlineLaw is linked to your personal account and history. In case you wish to make a change, you should contact us by email at support@onlinelaw.gr or by phone at +306948079236, Monday - Friday 10:00 - 19:00.

How can I delete my account?

In order to delete your personal account you will need to log in and select the "My Details" section. After click "Personal Information" and at the bottom of the page there is a ''Delete my account'' option.

 

How can I see which legal professionals I have visited?

Once you log in to your personal account, you can view your entire history of appointments you have made through onlineLaw with lawyers/notaries/mediators/bailiffs/bailiffs in the "My appointments" section.

What are ratings in onlineLaw?

OnlineLaw enables any user who has made an appointment with a legal professional, and only that user (this option is not offered to users/advocates who have not made an appointment through onlineLaw), to evaluate their visit to the lawyer/notary/mediator/judicial officer on the basis of five questions sent to them, in which they describe their experience of the appointment.
The reviews posted help thousands of other onlineLaw users choose the right professional for them.
Respecting the Code of Ethics for the Legal Profession and the unique nature of the legal profession, no case description is allowed in a rating, nor are comments that would irreparably prejudice legal professionals about the successful, or unsuccessful, outcome of a case, and therefore to protect users from violating the provisions of the Code of Ethics we have limited the rating to a scale of 1-10.

How does onlineLaw work?

From the home page of the website, the user/candidate can select the speciality he/she is looking for (lawyer, notary, bailiff or mediator), the region he/she wants to be served and search for the professional in the sector he/she is interested in. The search engine will show him/her all available professionals based on his/her criteria. Through the displayed profiles, he/she will choose to find the one that suits him/her and make an appointment easily and quickly. You, as a legal professional, will receive an email with the prospective client's details and a short explanation of the issue he/she is facing. You will then inform him or her of the acceptance or not of the appointment and the fee.

Why should I use this website and not some other big company site?

Through OnlineLaw you have the opportunity to be present online in a very cost-effective way, with validity and reliability for the approach of more cases and for the practice of your specialty. In addition, you have the support of the website for those cases where a client refuses to pay you. On your own report he will be banned from using the website until he pays you in full. In addition, you specify the times you want to keep your appointments busy and you can monitor your schedule at any time.

Profile

What do I need to create a profile?

To create a profile on onlineLaw we need your details, a professional photo, a text describing your professional experience and the industries you work in, your CV, the areas you serve, your professional social media, the hours you are available and how someone can make an appointment with you (office visit or video call). All of the above are not mandatory, but completing all of them creates a more complete picture for users and possible clients to trust you and book an appointment with you. A password will also be required for your registration, as well as agreeing to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To complete the profile, you declare that you are responsible for the true and accurate information you enter, subject to the legal penalties for failure to do so.

What is the charge for creating a profile?

If you register until 31.01.2023 you have a free profile until 28.02. 2023 and you are subject to the special introductory price that will start after two months in the amount of EUR 69.95 annual subscription for the first year (instead of EUR 129.95) or EUR 49.95 for the first two six-month subscriptions that will start after two months (instead of EUR 79.95) or EUR 19.95 for the first four quarters (instead of EUR 49.95).

Why should I create a profile on onlineLaw?

The onlineLaw website has been created by a lawyer and aims to help lawyer(s) and related professional sectors to create an online medium that the sector can meet the demands of technology and modern communication. It is now considered essential to have an online presence, but a cost-effective way of making this possible for the whole sector had not been found until now.

What do I need to do to make more appointments?

Creating a complete and engaging profile that is true to reality, as well as assigning your existing principals to make appointments through the platform will create a habit for both, you and your users to learn how to use the platform. This way you will have a clearer picture of the progress of a case, as a history is kept of your appointments and how they were charged! Besides, don't forget that the subscription is fixed and no commission is taken from each appointment. The purpose of the website is to protect both legal professionals and users from bad colleagues who create the ugly and unprofessional image for lawyers, notaries etc.

How can I be sure that my appointment is booked?

All of the appointments booked through onlineLaw are either confirmed or rescheduled. If you have already received an email with the title "Appointment Request", all you have to do is reply positively or negatively and set the price and duration (approximately) of the appointment. Your appointment is set!

How can I change or cancel my appointment?

The process is very simple! To change or cancel an appointment you can contact your user and prospective client directly.

How do I know that because of the price I set the user will not cancel our appointment?

Respecting the Code of Ethics of all legal professions that prohibits any citizen from making price comparisons in most legal professions, each user has the ability to book up to three consecutive appointments with legal professionals, in case of cancellation with a subsequent investigation and ban from the website.

What about privacy and data protection?

The professionals' data and conversations are stored in different places and are not linked to each other. The data displayed in the profile is public and the only data that needs privacy are the conversations with users/contacts.

Once you have logged in to your personal account you can view your entire history of appointments made through onlineLaw from the "My Appointments" section.
